It all started on a fishing charter with a seasick husband. The catch was good, and as any true fisherman knows, you don't leave when the fish are biting. It's safe to say the captain wasn't quite ready to call it a day but my husband begged to differ.
We had all heard his story 1,000 times about how he told the boat captain, “I don’t care if you’re catchin' mermaids, I need to get back to shore and off this boat.”
That was the punchline of my husband’s story—and eventually, the inspiration behind the name of our brand.
Catchin’ Mermaids is about family, adventure, celebrating the good times, and pushing through the not-so-good times, because we all experience them at some point in our lives. Whether it's a day on the water, a weekend away or just time spent with the people you love, we believe the best memories are made along the way.
